No corona death on 6th consecutive day in Jamshedpur, 40 new cases
Total death toll stays at 352 on Monday, Pandemic shows signs of retraction
Jamshedpur: There has been no death caused by coronavirus in Jamshedpur and East Singhbhum district for the 6th consecutive day. This is a sure sign of a major progress on the pandemic front and a soothing piece of news for the citizens of the city battling the pandemic effects.
Although, 40 new positive cases were detected in East Singhbhum district during the sample tests, there has been no death from anywhere due to coronavirus infection for the 6th day.
According to official data, a total of 3447 samples were tested in the district. Out of these, 40 samples tested positive. With this, the total number of infections has now reached 15,900 for the district. On the other hand, 65 patients were also cured and discharged from different hospitals and home quarantine. This is a good news, where recoveries are greater in number than new cases.
Till date, 14,379 patients have recovered in the district.
Monday was the 6th consecutive day when not a single person died of corona. The total death toll for the district stays at 352.
Among the new cases detected on Monday are included three staff members of Tata Motors Hospital, one staff member of MGMCH Covid ward, one staff member of Brahmanand Hospital, one person from Golmuri, one from Birsanagar, one from Govindpur and others from different areas.
