Jamshedpur Student Secures Coveted RIMC Admission

Vedanta Sharma clinches sole Jharkhand seat at prestigious military college

Kavyapta Global School student Vedanta Sharma gains admission to the elite Rashtriya Indian Military College in Dehradun.

JAMSHEDPUR – Vedanta Sharma, a student from Kavyapta Global School in Jamshedpur, has secured admission to the prestigious Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC) in Dehradun.

Sharma, son of Snigdha Kumar and Praveen Kumar from Kadma, claimed the only seat allocated to Jharkhand for this term.

RIMC, established in 1922, is renowned for grooming future officers for the Indian Armed Forces.

The college, spread across 140 acres in the Doon Valley, operates under the Union Ministry of Defence.

RIMC maintains an impressive teacher-student ratio of 1:14, ensuring personalized attention to cadets.

Vedanta’s achievement is remarkable given the fierce competition for RIMC admission.

The college selects only 25 cadets every six months from across India through a rigorous process.

"This accomplishment underscores Vedanta’s exceptional abilities and dedication," a school representative stated.

Kavyapta Global School, formerly known as Mount Litera Zee School, celebrates this significant achievement.

The Kadma community in Jamshedpur has joined in celebrating Vedanta’s success.

This admission not only brings honor to Vedanta’s family but also highlights the quality of education at Kavyapta Global School.

RIMC boasts a rich history of producing distinguished leaders for India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh.

Vedanta’s admission marks him as a potential future leader in the armed forces.
