The Jamshedpur district administration celebrated World Tribal Day with a grand tribal festival at Birsa Munda Town Hall, Sidhgora.

JAMSHEDPUR – On the occasion of World Tribal Day, the Jamshedpur district administration organized a tribal festival at the Birsa Munda Town Hall in Sidhgora.

The event’s chief guest was the state health minister, Banna Gupta.

During the program, Minister Gupta honored students from tribal schools who excelled in essay writing, painting, and other competitions.

Additionally, assets were distributed among the tribal community members.

Health Minister Banna Gupta emphasized the importance of celebrating World Tribal Day to honor and respect our tribal brothers and sisters.

He highlighted the role of the tribal community in protecting vital resources such as water, forests, and land.

Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal stated that the district administration is committed to celebrating and supporting the tribal community.

A special exhibition featuring items crafted by tribal community members was also organized as part of the festival.
