Despite raising an alarm, the culprits managed to escape.

Purnima Devi, a resident of Kashidih, has lodged a complaint at Sakchi police station.

The police are reviewing nearby CCTV footage to identify the perpetrators.

Devi informed the police that the chain was worth approximately Rs 1.25 lakh.

She was heading towards the market when the incident occurred.
