MLA Saryu Roy Inspects Maiyan Samman Yojana Centers
Highlights server issues, staff shortage; urges extension of scheme deadline
Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy inspects Maiyan Samman Yojana centers, identifies operational challenges, and receives welcome from JDU after joining party.
JAMSHEDPUR – MLA Saryu Roy conducted an inspection of the Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Maiyan Samman Yojana centers in Jamshedpur East, revealing significant operational issues.
Roy visited three centers in Patel Nagar, Bhuiyandih, and Vidyapati Community Building on Monday.
The MLA observed frequent server downtime, causing long delays for residents submitting forms.
Many applicants were unable to complete their submissions after hours of waiting due to technical issues.
Roy noted a shortage of data operators at the centers, contributing to the delays.
"The constituency is large and underserved with only three centers," stated Roy, suggesting an increase in the number of centers.
He urged the Chief Minister to extend the scheme’s deadline from August 10 to August 20.
The extension would allow more residents to benefit from the Maiyan Samman Yojana.
In a separate development, Roy received a warm welcome at his Bistupur residence after joining Janata Dal United (JDU).
JDU Jamshedpur District President Vishram Prasad congratulated Roy on his new political affiliation.
Prasad expressed optimism about JDU’s future performance in Jharkhand with Roy’s inclusion.
The celebration saw numerous supporters and dignitaries from various sections of society congratulating Roy.
JDU members Ravindra Nath Choubey and other dedicated workers were present at the welcoming event.
