Train Services Disrupted Due to Adra Division Development Works
Several routes cancelled, diverted on August 4 amid ongoing construction
Adra Division’s development works lead to cancellations and route changes for multiple train services on August 4, 2024.
JAMSHEDPUR – Ongoing development works in the Adra Division will cause significant disruptions to train services on August 4, 2024, affecting multiple routes and schedules.
The 18019/18020 Jhargram-Dhanbad-Jhargram MEMU Express will be cancelled on the specified date.
Similarly, the 13503/13504 Barddhaman-Hatia-Barddhaman MEMU Express faces cancellation on August 4.
The 08695/08696 Bokaro Steel City-Ranchi-Bokaro Steel City Passengers Special is also scheduled for cancellation.
The 13319/13320 Dumka-Ranchi-Dumka Express will be short-terminated at or short-originated from Bokaro Steel City.
The 12801 Puri-New Delhi Purushottam Express, starting on August 3, will be diverted via Purulia, Anara, Bhojudih, and NSCB Gomoh.
The 12365 Patna-Ranchi Jan Shatabdi Express, commencing on August 4, will follow a new route via Chandrapura, Barkakana, and Muri.
These adjustments aim to accommodate the ongoing construction work in the Adra Division.
Passengers are advised to check updated schedules and plan their journeys accordingly.
The railway authorities have implemented these changes to ensure safety during the development works.
