JAMSHEDPUR – The Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur East has donated a wheelchair to a leprosy patient at Prem Ashram in Baradwari, addressing critical mobility needs.

Tata Motors generously funded the wheelchair, demonstrating corporate social responsibility in action.

The recipient, facing imminent right leg amputation, has been rendered immobile due to severe leg conditions.

Nav Jagrut Manav Samaj Secretary Parth Bhattacharya provided unwavering support for this charitable initiative.

Ashram Supervisor Jahar oversaw the donation process, ensuring proper implementation of the aid.

Inner Wheel Club member Vijaya Gokhale facilitated the wheelchair donation, showcasing the club’s commitment to community service.

The handover ceremony was attended by Club President Madhumita Sanyal and Secretary Sachinta De, among others.

Dr. Meena Mukherjee’s presence at the event highlighted the medical significance of the donation.
