Vishal Munda’s family met with the SSP, alleging that Parsudih police falsely implicated him in a brown sugar case after arresting him on July 25.
JAMSHEDPUR – The family of Vishal Munda, who has been in custody at Parsudih police station since July 25, approached the SSP’s office to report false charges against him by police officers.
Munda was detained for questioning in connection with a scooter theft case from Sapodera.
When his wife visited the station to meet him, a female officer allegedly demanded money for his release.
Furthermore, Munda reported that the police were forcibly framing him in a brown sugar case, despite his innocence.
Upon hearing this, members of the tribal community, along with Munda’s wife, went to the SSP office to lodge a complaint against the Parsudih police station in-charge.
They demanded the immediate removal of the involved officers.
The family and supporters are seeking justice and transparency in the investigation.
The allegations of bribery and false charges have raised serious concerns about police conduct.
The community has urged the SSP to take strict action to prevent such incidents in the future.
