St. John’s High School Hosts Annual English Elocution and Speech Contest

Students showcase exceptional oratory skills at the 2024 event.

St. John’s High School, Jamshedpur, held its Annual English Elocution and Speech Contest 2024 on Thursday, displaying outstanding oratory talents from students across all classes.

JAMSHEDPUR – St. John’s High School in Jamshedpur hosted its Annual English Elocution and Speech Contest 2024 on Thursday, showcasing exceptional oratory skills from students of all classes.

Senior journalist Parvinder Bhatia graced the event, praising the students’ performances and highlighting the educators’ positive role in enhancing communication skills.

Judges Jayanti Sheshadri, Vice Principal of Loyola School, and Vidya P. Battiwala, Consultant at TQMS, commended the students’ selection of pieces and their delivery.

G. Francis, the School Director, congratulated students and teachers for their hard work and dedication.

The event showcased the school’s efforts to improve communication skills, with even the comperes delivering fantastic performances.

Principal Ashu Tiwary played a key role in motivating the participants.

– Second prize: Std-I with "My Doggy Ate My Essay"

– Third prize: Std-III with "The Star and The Wind"

– First place: Nabiha Shahid (VII)

– Second place: Saurav Kumar Paul (VII)

– Third place: Piyush Kushwaha (VI)

– First place: Zareen Afreen (VIII)

– Second place: Lucky Kumar (IX)

– Third place: Mantasha (IX)

– Category E:

– First prize: Pratishtha Sharma (X)

– Second prize: Ayesha Bushra (X)

– Third prize: Azra Zaman Ali (X)
