Saryu Roy Accuses Health Minister Banna Gupta of Scam in Outsourcing Agency Selection

MLA Saryu Roy demands action, alleges irregularities in health department’s hiring process

Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy accuses Health Minister Banna Gupta of involvement in a serious scam related to outsourcing agencies.

JAMSHEDPUR – Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy has submitted a memorandum to Chief Minister Hemant Soren, alleging a serious scam involving the Health Department and Health Minister Banna Gupta.

Roy has called for the cancellation of empanelment of current outsourcing agencies supplying manpower to the Health Department.

The MLA urged hospital superintendents and district civil surgeons to select new outsourcing agencies within a month.

Roy accused the Health Minister of influencing the department to delay signing an agreement with a newly selected agency for a year.

The outsourcing agency in question was chosen through a tender published by the Jharkhand Medical and Health Infrastructure Development and Procurement Corporation Limited (JMHIDPCL).

According to Roy, the Health Minister canceled the panel of the selected outsourcing company without informing the Council of Ministers.

A new advertisement was allegedly issued for appointing a new agency, which Roy claims is impossible to execute within a month due to the impending election and model code of conduct.

The MLA alleges that the Health Minister is conspiring to maintain the pre-reform system, constituting a significant scam.

Roy has called on the Chief Minister to investigate the matter and prevent any irregularities in the selection process.

The accusation highlights potential issues in the health department’s hiring practices and decision-making processes.
