Loyola School’s Founder’s Day celebration brought St. Ignatius of Loyola’s legacy to life through vibrant student performances and thoughtful reflections.
JAMSHEDPUR – Loyola School celebrated its Founder’s Day with a magnificent celebration that paid tribute to Saint Ignatius of Loyola. The event included a variety of student performances and motivational messages.
The event featured a play, songs, and dances that illustrated the life of St. Ignatius, emphasizing his transition from combatant to saint.
Fr. Gerry, the school administrator, referred to St. Ignatius as a "saint of imagination," underscoring his ability to establish authentic human connections and empathy.
During his address, Fr. Gerry observed that St. Ignatius enhanced our capacity to empathize with experiences that we have not encountered.
The celebration underscored Ignatius’ transition from a youthful soldier to a spiritual leader, motivating students with his life story.
In the current fast-paced world, Fr. Gerry urged attendees to develop empathy and imagination.
"Let us develop the courage to listen to the voice of the heart that can sometimes bring change," he suggested to the audience.

Fr Gerry observed, "We have a lengthy list of contacts but no personal relationships with people," urging for meaningful human interactions.
