Jamshedpur Police Nab Two Wanted Criminals in Sidhgora Raid
Arms and ammunition seized from Akhilesh Singh gang associates in Vardaan Colony
Jamshedpur police apprehended two wanted criminals linked to gangster Akhilesh Singh, seizing multiple firearms and ammunition during a raid in Vardaan Colony.
JAMSHEDPUR – During an operation in the Sidhgora area, law enforcement officials in Jamshedpur effectively apprehended two individuals who are purportedly associated with gangster Akhilesh Singh.
Several weapons were discovered in the possession of the detained suspects, Amarjeet Singh (alias Shetty) and Harprit Singh (alias Ritik).
The duo was apprehended by authorities, who seized six pistols manufactured in the country, one magazine, and numerous rounds of live ammunition.
The police had obtained intelligence regarding the suspects’ whereabouts in a rented house in Vardaan Colony, according to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kishore Kaushal.
13 live cartridges of 7.65 bore and two cartridges of.315 bore were recovered as a consequence of the operation.
SSP Kaushal stated that both individuals were wanted for a variety of criminal activities, such as extortion, loot, dacoity, and the unlawful supply of firearms.
After serving a prolonged prison sentence, Amarjeet Singh, who was described as a history-sheeter, had recently resumed criminal activities.
The suspects were subsequently remanded to Ghaghidih Central Jail after being presented before a judicial magistrate following their arrest.
