JAMSHEDPUR – The IndianOil Durand Cup, which was contested in Jamshedpur for the first time, began with a resounding victory for the local football team against Assam Rifles in the opening game of the season.

As a result of a lively opening ceremony, the match commenced with an electrifying atmosphere.

Jamshedpur FC’s offensive capabilities were evident from the outset of the match.

The home team’s perseverance was eventually rewarded during the first half’s stoppage time.

Sanan capitalized on Imran’s corner kick, breaking the deadlock and reigniting the crowd’s enthusiasm.

Jamshedpur FC maintained their dominance on the field during the second half.

Aniket Jadhav was introduced as a substitute at halftime, infusing the attack with new vigor.

A second goal was scored by the home team at the 68-minute mark as a consequence of their relentless pressure.

The opportunity was deftly converted by Sanan, who was located by Imran’s precise cross.

In the 86th minute, Jamshedpur FC secured their victory with a third goal.

Following a deflection from Ashutosh’s cross, Imran struck the back of the net.

The match concluded with a 3-0 tally in favor of Jamshedpur FC.

Imran was awarded the Man of the Match award for his exceptional performance, which included a goal and two assists.

The squad’s subsequent match in the IndianOil Durand Cup will be against Chennaiyin FC, a team from the Indian Super League.
