Rakesh Sahu Announces Upcoming Medical Camp with Comprehensive Services
Youth Congress initiative aids locals with pension form filling and promises future health services in Shyam Nagar.
JAMSHEDPUR – The Youth Congress organized a pension form filling camp at Ganesh Mandir in Shyam Nagar, Bhuinyadih, assisting residents with various welfare schemes.
State Secretary Rakesh Sahu, leading the initiative, stated, "Our goal is to ensure every eligible citizen receives their rightful benefits."
The camp, held under the guidance of former MP Dr. Ajoy Kumar, facilitated applications for widow, old age, and disability pensions, as well as ration cards.
Approximately 52 forms were completed during the event, targeting women over 50 and men above 60 for pension schemes.
Sahu announced plans for an upcoming medical camp in the area, promising comprehensive health services.
"We’ll have seven doctors offering various medical services, including full body check-ups and cataract operations," Sahu explained.
The medical camp will run alongside additional pension and welfare service camps, aiming to provide holistic support to the community.
Women State Secretary Namrita Singh emphasized the importance of such initiatives, saying, "These camps bridge the gap between government schemes and beneficiaries."
Local Youth Congress leaders, including Jamshedpur East Assembly President Neeraj Sahu and Vice President Gautam Sahu, were present to support the event.
The successful turnout highlights the community’s need for assistance in accessing government welfare schemes.
