JAMSHEDPUR – A tragic road accident has claimed the life of an elderly woman in Sundernagar, as she fell victim to a collision with a speeding motorcycle.

Dumni Hansda was returning home from Haldipokhar when the incident occurred.

The accident took place near Maramburu Studios, close to Neeldungri village.

Two intoxicated youths on a motorcycle struck Hansda, causing her to fall onto the road.

The collision resulted in severe head injuries and a broken arm for the elderly woman.

Hansda was immediately rushed to Sadar Hospital for medical attention.

Unfortunately, she was pronounced dead upon arrival at the medical facility.

Local residents managed to apprehend the two youths involved in the accident.

The captured individuals were handed over to the Sunder Nagar police for further action.

Law enforcement officials took the youths into custody following the incident.

The motorcycle involved in the accident was seized by the police as evidence.

A review of the woman’s death was conducted at the hospital after the tragedy.
