SDO Halts Unauthorized Construction in Jamshedpur’s Kadma

Builder Violates Prohibitory Order, Faces Immediate Action

Disputed land near Srinath Apartment becomes focal point of controversy involving political figures.

JAMSHEDPUR – Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) Parul Singh intervened to stop illegal construction work near Srinath Apartment in Kadma, enforcing a previously issued prohibitory order.

The SDO, accompanied by her team, confiscated all construction materials from the site upon discovering the violation.

The prohibition, issued under Section 163 of the Indian Civil Code, explicitly banned any construction activity in the area.

Ichagarh MLA Savita Mahato was present at the scene, adding political significance to the incident.

SDO Parul Singh stated, “We are committed to upholding the law and will not tolerate any violations of prohibitory orders.”

Land Dispute Details

Devashish Mahato, a resident of Uliyan, Kadma, claims the builder is illegally encroaching on his family’s property.

Mahato asserts that his ancestor, Jagbandhu Mahato, was the rightful owner of the adjacent plot.

Reports suggest confrontations between the current occupants and Mahato’s supporters.

Political Implications

Allegations have surfaced regarding interference in the plot by MLA Savita Mahato and the late former Deputy Chief Minister Sudhir Mahato.

A local political analyst commented, “This incident highlights the complex interplay between property disputes and political influence in our region.”

Official Response and Actions

The SDO has issued a strict order to cease all activities on the disputed land.

Authorities are investigating the circumstances that led to the violation of the prohibitory order.

Local residents expressed relief at the swift action taken by the SDO to enforce the law.

The incident has raised questions about the effectiveness of prohibitory orders and the need for stricter monitoring of construction activities.

City officials are considering implementing more robust measures to prevent similar violations in the future.
