12th Foundation Ceremony Marks Transition as 2024-’25 Team Takes Charge

The club’s leadership change signals renewed focus on community service and development initiatives in Jamshedpur.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Rotary Club of Jamshedpur Dalma celebrated its 12th Foundation Ceremony at the United Club in Bistupur, marking the inauguration of its new team for 2024-’25.

Newly elected President Manish Kumar Chaudhary and Secretary Suchismita Chakraborty, along with their team, took their oaths of office on Thursday evening.

President Chaudhary outlined the club’s plans for the upcoming term, emphasizing community engagement and social initiatives.

Kerala Samajam Model School Chairman K. P. G. Nair graced the event as chief guest, with PDG Pratim Banerjee attending as a special guest.

A senior Rotarian remarked, "This transition represents a fresh chapter in our club’s commitment to serving Jamshedpur’s community."

New Leadership and Key Roles

The ceremony saw the induction of a diverse Board of Directors and Committee members.

Key positions include Suman Sarkar as Vice President and Vishal Trehan as Treasurer.

Specialized roles such as Health Chair, Membership Chair, and Public Image were also assigned to experienced Rotarians.

Event Highlights and Attendees

PDG Pratim Banerjee conducted the oath-taking ceremony, while Rupsha Das anchored other program segments.

Notable attendees included former President Saraswati Ghosh, AG Nikita Mehta, and PDG Dr. R. Bharat.

Representatives from various Rotary Clubs in the region were present to show their support.

The ceremony underscored the Rotary Club’s ongoing commitment to community service and leadership development in Jamshedpur.

As the new team takes charge, local residents anticipate innovative projects and initiatives benefiting the city.
