Aadhaar Services Set for Major Expansion in East Singhbhum

District Administration Plans New Centers and Enhanced Efficiency

Comprehensive review aims to improve Aadhaar registration and update facilities across Jamshedpur and surrounding areas.

JAMSHEDPUR – The District Level Aadhaar Monitoring Committee, under the guidance of District Magistrate Ananya Mittal, has outlined plans to significantly expand Aadhaar services in East Singhbhum.

Deputy Development Commissioner Manish Kumar chaired a review meeting to assess the current state of 148 Aadhaar centers in the district.

Proposals for new Aadhaar Registration Centers at key locations including Samaharanalaya Complex and MGM Hospital have been directed for submission.

The Education Department is tasked with ensuring Aadhaar registration for all school children through dedicated camps.

Authorities expressed dissatisfaction with the Postal Department’s performance, emphasizing the need for improved efficiency in Aadhaar-related services.

India Post Payments Bank is directed to conduct Aadhaar registration for children under five in collaboration with the Department of Social Welfare.

Plans are underway to reopen the Aadhaar center in Central Jail Ghaghidih and link the observation home for registration purposes.

The administration is prioritizing the opening of more Aadhaar centers in Musabani block, designated as an aspirational block.

A directive has been issued to open Aadhaar registration centers in all bank and post office branches across the district.

An inspection committee will be formed to assess existing Aadhaar centers, ensuring quality and compliance with guidelines.
