Mata Shabari Costume Competition Held as Part of Tulsi Jayanti

Students from 27 Schools Participate in Jamshedpur Event

A Mata Shabari costume competition was organized for students as part of the Tulsi Jayanti celebrations by the Singhbhum District Hindi Literary Conference and Tulsi Bhavan.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Tulsi Jayanti celebrations, organized by the Singhbhum District Hindi Literary Conference and Tulsi Bhavan, featured a Mata Shabari costume competition on Saturday, July 13.

The competition was divided into two categories for students from classes 1 to 3 and classes 4 to 6.

A total of 142 students from 27 schools participated in the event.

Dr. Prasenjit Tiwari, the honorary general secretary of the institution, welcomed the attendees and provided detailed information about the program.

The event commenced with the lighting of the lamp by the institution’s president, Subhash Chandra Munka, and other officials of the literary committee.

The judges for the competition included Dr. Yamuna Tiwari Vyathit, Vijaya Lakshmi Vedula, Shikha Akhauri, Madhuri Mishra, Anita Nidhi, Rajendra Sah Raj, Aarti Srivastava, and Neelambar Chaudhary.

Certificates and gifts were distributed to the participants by Ram Nandan Prasad, Vimal Jalan, Dr. Ragini Bhushan, Dr. Ajay Kumar Ojha, Suresh Chandra Jha, Basant Jamshedpuri, Dr. Veena Pandey Bharti, Veena Kumari Nandini, Kailash Nath Sharma ‘Gazipuri’, Shakuntala Sharma, Lakshmi Singh, Reena Sinha, Mamta Karn, Usha Jha, Reena Gupta, and Jitesh Tiwari.

The event saw a large turnout of parents and teachers, adding to the celebratory atmosphere.

"The enthusiasm of the participants was truly inspiring," said Dr. Tiwari.
