Jharkhand Government Flags Off Pilgrimage Tour to Goa
Seventy Christian pilgrims from Jamshedpur depart for Goa under the Jharkhand Tourism Development Corporation.
A group of seventy Christian pilgrims from East Singhbhum, Jamshedpur, has been flagged off for a pilgrimage tour to Goa, organized by the Jharkhand Tourism Development Corporation Limited.
JAMSHEDPUR – A group of seventy Christian pilgrims from Jamshedpur recently set off on a pilgrimage tour to Goa. The tour was organized by the Jharkhand Tourism Development Corporation Limited.
Deputy Development Commissioner Manish Kumar expressed his well wishes to the pilgrims, hoping for a safe and blessed journey, as he flagged off two buses to Hatia Railway Station in Ranchi.
The group will travel to Goa by train from Ranchi.
The pilgrimage will begin on July 13th and end on July 19th, lasting for a total of seven days.
This tour is specifically designed for individuals who reside in Jharkhand and are over the age of 60. It is open to those who belong to the Below Poverty Line (BPL) category and are in good physical health.
The Jharkhand Tourism Department Corporation and district administration have worked hard to make sure the pilgrims have everything they need.
Manish Jonko has been appointed as the nodal officer, and he will be supported by assistants Hemvati Pingua and Sushila Ba. Their main responsibility is to ensure the well-being of the pilgrims during the entire journey.
