‘Let Us Raise Mentally Strong Children’ Program Kicks Off With Parent-Student Session
Principal Priti Sinha emphasizes holistic approach to education beyond academics.
JAMSHEDPUR – Gulmohur High School has initiated a groundbreaking program aimed at fostering mental strength in students and parents.
"Academic success is important, but not the sole determinant of a fulfilling life," stated Principal Priti Sinha during the inaugural session.
Key aspects of the program include:
– Techniques like chanting ‘AUM’, deep breathing, and earthing
– Emphasis on quality parent-child bonding time
– Focus on self-study, goal-setting, and vision boards
The initiative addresses modern challenges such as cyber-bullying and digital distractions.
"We aim to equip students with tools to navigate challenges and lead balanced lives," Sinha explained.
Since launch, the program has reached 225 students, 100 teachers, and 400 parents.
The school plans regular meetings and workshops throughout the academic year.
Sinha’s 2024 goal is to engage every parent and student at Gulmohur High School.
This initiative highlights a growing focus on mental health in Jamshedpur’s educational institutions.
The program’s success could set a precedent for holistic education approaches in the region.
