Tata Growth Shop Launches Tree Plantation Drive in Gamharia

TGS commits to planting 1500 trees this year

Tata Growth Shop (TGS) initiated a tree plantation program at Rajgoda ground in Dugdha Panchayat under Gamharia block as part of its voluntary service initiative.

JAMSHEDPUR – At least About 55 trees were planted during a tree-planting campaign organized by Tata Growth Shop at Rajgoda Ground in Dugdha Panchayat, Gamharia.

With plans for other projects along these lines in other regions, TGS is committing to planting 1500 trees this year, including this one.

Chief guest R. Ramchandran, who was previously EIC of Tata Steel Growth Shop, was present at the function together with Smt. Ramchandran.

General Manager Sharad Sharma, President of TISCO Mazdoor Union Rakeshwar Pandey, General Secretary Shivlakhan Singh, Chief of Maintenance Brijesh Kumar, Head of Machine Shop Amit Rai, SN Singh, Senior Manager Ram Naresh, Senior Manager (Admin) Sanjay Singh, Treasurer Dilip Kumar Mahato, Joint Secretary Naveen Kumar Sinha, Omprakash Pathak, Kaushal Kumar, Prabhunath Karna, and others were among the notable attendees.

Ashok Mahato, Jaya Jha, Jai Ram, Simranjit Singh, Sanjay Kumar, and other local villagers were instrumental in the event’s effective planning.

General Manager Sharad Sharma stated, "This tree planting initiative is a testament to our commitment to environmental sustainability."

The program places a strong emphasis on the value of green projects and community engagement in environmental preservation.
