Peace Committee Meeting Held in Ghatshila Ahead of Rath Yatra and Muharram
Officials Urge Residents to Celebrate Peacefully and Follow Guidelines
A Peace Committee meeting was held in Ghatshila police station premises on Friday to ensure a peaceful celebration of the upcoming Rath Yatra and Muharram.
JAMSHEDPUR – A meeting of the Peace Committee was held on Friday at Ghatshila police station in preparation for the upcoming Rath Yatra and Muharram.
The meeting was led by Sachidanand Mahato, who is the Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO), and Ajit Kumar Kujur, who is the SDPO.
SDO Sachidanand Mahato kindly requested the residents to ensure a calm and harmonious atmosphere during the celebrations, just like they have done every year.
He let the licensed Akhara committees know about the festival guidelines and emphasized that the Muharram procession should stick to the assigned route and follow the planned time.
Mahato kindly requested that everyone participate in the procession in a peaceful manner and celebrate Muharram with a sense of unity and brotherhood.
He suggested that when it comes to performances involving weapons, safety should always be a top priority. He also discouraged the use of fire and tube lights in these types of games.
He also stressed the importance of using social media responsibly, cautioning against posting content that could offend others.
The administration is keeping a close watch, and any violations will be handled firmly.
