50 Postgraduate Students Present Research Papers On Diverse Topics
Event aims to cultivate scholarly thinking and research skills among English literature students.
JAMSHEDPUR – The Postgraduate English Department at Karim City College organized a two-day seminar from July 1 to 2, featuring research presentations by 50 students from Semester-4.
"This seminar shapes students’ literary thinking and lays the foundation for their scholarly future," stated Dr. S.M. Yahya Ibrahim, Head of the Department.
Dr. Ibrahim emphasized the importance of distinguishing between articles and research papers, challenging students to demonstrate academic rigor.
The event, held in the college auditorium, was organized by Semester-1 students under Prof. A.K. Das’s guidance.
"Students showcased insightful perspectives on literature, effectively using multimedia in their presentations," Prof. Das noted.
Professors Dr. Neha Tiwari and Dr. Basudhara Rai, along with Prof. Saket Kumar, provided a comprehensive review of the seminar.
Abhishek Bhakat, Ashish Singh, Priyanka Mahato, and others from Semester-1 were praised for their organizational efforts.
The seminar covered a wide range of literary topics, fostering academic inquiry and scholarly discourse.
