Two Motorcyclists Killed in Bus Accident Near Chaibasa

Tragic accident near Chaibasa leaves two dead after collision with bus.

Two motorcyclists were killed on the spot after being hit by an unidentified bus near Jamdih Kocha in the Tonto police station area of Chaibasa.

CHAIBASA – Two young men died instantly in a road accident involving an unidentified bus near Chaibasa.

The deceased were identified as Shubham Gupta from Nimdih, Saraikela Kharsawan, and Roshan Gop from Jagarnathpur.

Both were employees of Reliance, working on installing Jio towers.

They were returning to Jamshedpur’s Reliance Jio office on their motorcycle when the accident occurred.

A Laxmi bus heading towards Chaibasa collided with their bike, leading to their immediate death.

Police were informed about the incident and took the bodies into custody, sending them for post-mortem at Chaibasa hospital.

The families of the deceased have been notified.

The identification of the victims was confirmed through their ID cards and licenses.

Upon receiving the tragic news, their families were overwhelmed with grief.

Police Investigation Initiated

The police have begun investigating the incident to determine the exact cause of the accident.

Eyewitnesses reported that the bus was speeding, which might have contributed to the collision.

The police are also trying to locate the bus driver who fled the scene after the accident.

"The bus driver is currently absconding, and efforts are underway to track him down," said a police official.
