JAMSHEDPUR – A daring theft occurred in Zone 6 of Birsanagar police station area on Friday night, with burglars making off with cash and jewelry worth approximately 9 lakh rupees.
The incident took place at the residence of Chandan Bhattacharya while the family was asleep in the house.
"We discovered the theft in the morning when we found our belongings scattered," Bhattacharya stated.
The thieves reportedly stole 6 lakh rupees in cash and jewelry valued at 3 lakh rupees.
Bhattacharya revealed that the cash was meant for ongoing roof construction work, with payment due on Saturday.
