Industry Leaders Explore Digital Transformation and Innovation Strategies

The CII Jharkhand session highlighted cloud computing’s pivotal role in driving growth across various sectors, with a focus on secure expansion and innovation.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Jharkhand hosted a comprehensive session on cloud technology, drawing industry experts to discuss its transformative potential.

The event, titled "Accelerate, Innovate and Expand Securely," brought together professionals from diverse sectors to explore the latest trends in cloud computing.

Diloo Parikh, a key figure in the CII Jamshedpur Zonal Council, shed light on India’s burgeoning digital economy.

"Our nation is witnessing an unprecedented digital revolution, propelled by technological advancements and a thriving startup ecosystem," Parikh remarked, highlighting the projected growth of the global cloud computing industry.

Cloud’s Impact on Business Landscape

Sarajit Jha from Tata Steel emphasized the integral role of cloud technology in fostering innovation and growth.

He stated, "The cloud is not just a technological shift; it’s a fundamental reimagining of how businesses operate and innovate in the digital age."

Jha outlined key aspects of cloud-driven transformation, including data democratization and the separation of innovation from infrastructure.

MSME Sector Transformation

Sanjay Sabherwal, representing the CII Eastern Region MSME Subcommittee, focused on the cloud’s potential for smaller enterprises.

"For India’s vast MSME sector, cloud technology is a game-changer, offering sophisticated tools without the need for hefty investments," Sabherwal explained.

He highlighted how cloud solutions are leveling the playing field for micro-enterprises, enabling them to compete more effectively in the digital marketplace.

Digital Capabilities and Future Growth

Rohit Goyal of IEMCO Industries stressed the importance of digital investment for long-term success.

"In today’s rapidly evolving business environment, embracing cloud technology is not just an option, it’s a necessity for survival and growth," Goyal asserted.

He emphasized the cloud’s role in enhancing operational efficiency and competitiveness, particularly for MSMEs.

Oracle’s Cloud Solutions

The session featured insights from Oracle experts, who introduced their Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and its applications across various business scenarios.

Attendees gained practical knowledge through interactive discussions and case studies, exploring the nuances of cloud adoption and implementation.

The event concluded with a panel discussion featuring industry leaders, including representatives from Tata Steel, Deloitte India, and Oracle, providing a multi-faceted view of cloud technology’s future in Indian business.
