BJP Commemorates Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee’s Death Anniversary

Party leaders and workers pay tributes across Jamshedpur, recall his contributions to national unity

JAMSHEDPUR – The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) observed the 71st death anniversary of Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee as ‘Balidan Diwas’ (Martyrdom Day) across Jamshedpur on Sunday.

A central event was held at the BJP district office in Sakchi, presided over by city president Sudhansu Ojha.

Former MLA Menka Sardar and other senior leaders offered floral tributes to Dr. Mookerjee’s portrait.

Speakers recalled Dr. Mookerjee’s slogan against separate constitutions and flags for Kashmir.

Menka Sardar praised PM Modi for fulfilling Dr. Mookerjee’s vision of integrating Jammu and Kashmir.

The party organized similar commemorative events across all 28 mandals in Jamshedpur.

Booth-level programs were also held, with local leaders paying respects to Dr. Mookerjee.

Party workers pledged to follow the ideals and path shown by Dr. Mookerjee.

Notable attendees included former district presidents Devendra Singh and Abhay Singh.

The event saw participation from various party wings and veteran members.

This observance reinforces BJP’s efforts to highlight its ideological roots and national integration agenda.

The widespread commemoration demonstrates the party’s organizational strength at the grassroots level.
