JAMSHEDPUR – Bang Bandhu has initiated the formation of zonal committees to strengthen community bonds and advocate for rights in Jharkhand.
Bang Bandhu, a prominent organization advocating for the Bang community in Jamshedpur, has established zonal committees.
A meeting of the South Zone was held at Loknath Bhawan in Parsudih to discuss crucial issues.
The President of Bang Bandhu, Aparna Guha, along with other officials, attended the meeting.
The discussion focused on uniting the Bang community across the district and beyond on a single platform.
The aim is to secure their rights and full authority in Jharkhand.
Aparna Guha highlighted that Bang Bandhu was established eight years ago and has grown significantly since then.
The organization has undertaken numerous social initiatives and movements to preserve the Bengali language and promote education.
Vice President Sanjeev Acharya, Secretary Uttam Guha, Joint Secretary Ashok Dutta, Treasurer Subhash Singhrai, Paritosh Mahato, Anjali Bose, and Sapan Kumar Das were among those present.
Guha stated, "The organization is now expanding beyond its initial goals, and the formation of zonal committees is a step towards bringing all Bangla speakers onto one platform."
The organization plans to launch a continuous membership campaign to support this expansion.
The meeting saw a large attendance of both male and female members.
