Teachers’ Salary Crisis In Kolhan University, ABVP Protests
146 period-based teachers of Kolhan University are facing serious financial crisis due to non-payment of salary for the last five months.
Kolhan University has not been able to pay salaries to 146 hourly teachers for the last five months, due to which the teachers are in severe financial crisis. The university is planning to terminate the services of 35 teachers, to which the ABVP has protested.

The dismissal of 35 teachers has led to tension between the teaching staff and students.
This situation has disrupted teaching activities.
This has also adversely affected the education of students.
ABVP has expressed deep concern on this issue.
They have demanded immediate payment of pending salaries, withdrawal of the dismissal order and a permanent solution to ensure that such a situation does not arise in future.
ABVP Jamshedpur Metropolitan Co-Minister Abhishek Kumar emphasized on the teachers’ dedication towards providing quality education despite financial constraints.
He urged the university administration to resolve the complaints quickly.
Otherwise ABVP will protest and hold the Kolhan University administration responsible for this.
