Bhoomi Pujan Performed for Grand Radha Govind Temple in Chainpur Village
MLA Sukhram Oraon Participates in Ceremony, Pledges Support for Temple Construction
The foundation stone-laying ceremony (Bhoomi Pujan) for a grand Radha Govind temple was performed with full rituals near the main square of Chainpur village in Chakradharpur block on Monday, marking the beginning of the temple’s construction.
CHAKRADHARPUR – In a significant event for the residents of Chainpur village, the Bhoomi Pujan for the construction of a grand Radha Govind temple was organized near the main square on Monday.
Local MLA Sukhram Oraon graced the occasion and participated in the ceremony, which was conducted by Pandit Gaurang Nanda according to traditional rituals.
The temple construction committee honored MLA Sukhram Oraon by presenting him with a shawl, acknowledging his support for the project.
Chainpur village is known for organizing a grand Harinam Sankirtan every year during the month of Baisakh, and the construction of the temple at this location has generated great excitement among the villagers.
The temple is being built with the cooperation of the entire village and the support of MLA Sukhram Oraon.
Addressing the gathering, MLA Sukhram Oraon emphasized the importance of divine will in the successful construction of the temple and pledged to provide all possible support for the project.
The event was attended by several notable individuals, including MLA representative Piru Hembram and Headman of Chainpur village Saheb Hembram Mukesh Das.
The temple construction committee, led by Chairman Santosh Kumbhakar, Secretary Pankaj Kumbhakar, Vice President Chitranjan Kumbhakar, and Treasurer Dashrath Kumbhakar, along with numerous committee members and villagers, were present to witness the auspicious ceremony.
The construction of the Radha Govind temple in Chainpur village is expected to further strengthen the spiritual and cultural fabric of the community, providing a sacred space for worship and congregation.
