Fatal Accident Involves High-Speed Bikes in Bistupur Area

A head-on collision between two bikes late Friday night near PM Mall in the Bistupur police station area of Jamshedpur resulted in the death of one youth and injuries to two others.

JAMSHEDPUR – A tragic accident occurred late Friday night near PM Mall in the Bistupur police station area when two bikes collided head-on.

One youth, identified as Raviranjan Kumar, a resident of Kadma Ram Janak Nagar, lost his life in the accident.

Two others were injured, with one in critical condition.

The collision was so severe that both riders were thrown off their bikes, causing significant damage to the vehicles.

The critically injured youth, Mohammad Kabir, a resident of Jugsalai Islamnagar, was rushed to TMH by the PCR team that arrived at the scene.

The body of Raviranjan Kumar was kept in the cold storage at MGM.

A third youth, who was riding with Kabir, sustained minor injuries and is being questioned by the police.

According to information received, Raviranjan Kumar was traveling towards Adityapur via PM Mall, while Mohammad Kabir and his friend were heading towards Bistupur at high speed from the wrong direction via Adityapur.

The high-speed collision occurred near the mall, drawing a crowd of onlookers.

Eyewitnesses reported that Mohammad Kabir and his friend were driving at an excessive speed.

Raviranjan Kumar’s post-mortem was conducted on Saturday.

The police are investigating the incident and questioning the injured youth to gather more details.
