Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy has submitted a chargesheet to the Enforcement Directorate, urging an investigation into Health Minister Banna Gupta for alleged corruption and financial misconduct.
JAMSHEDPUR – Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy has submitted a detailed letter with allegations of corruption to the Enforcement Directorate (ED) director, demanding an investigation into Jharkhand Health Minister Banna Gupta for alleged money laundering and disproportionate assets.
The chargesheet outlines 10 points, alleging that the Health Minister’s corrupt practices have caused significant financial losses to the government treasury.
The allegations include irregularities in purchasing equipment for ambulances and hospitals, unauthorized transfers of doctors, civil surgeons, and other senior medical officers, and the reinstatement of consultants who colluded with hospitals covered under the Ayushman Yojana.
Mr. Roy emphasizED that an ED investigation would uncover a substantial amount of illegal money and expose irregularities within the health department, particularly concerning the Ayushman Yojana.
