Jamshedpur: Voter Awareness Campaign Stresses Informed Voting

Roti Bank and Jharkhand Human Rights Organization Urge Voters to Scrutinize Candidates’ Track Records

The Roti Bank and Jharkhand Human Rights Organization conducted a comprehensive voter awareness campaign across urban and rural areas, emphasizing the crucial role of informed voting in the country’s development and progress.

JAMSHEDPUR – In a concerted effort to promote responsible voting, the Roti Bank and Jharkhand Human Rights Organization launched an intensive voter awareness drive under the banner "My vote for the Navnirman of the country."

The campaign, which spanned both urban and rural regions, aimed to educate the public about the significance of their votes in shaping the nation’s future.

Organizers encouraged voters to thoroughly research and evaluate candidates’ track records before casting their ballots.

Manoj Mishra, the Chairman of the organization, stressed the need for transparency regarding the performance of East Singhbhum’s current public representative, Vidyut Varan Mahato, over the past decade.

Mishra highlighted the dire state of education and healthcare in the district, which he claimed had seen no substantial improvements during Mahato’s tenure.

He also drew attention to the alarming prevalence of malnutrition in East Singhbhum, urging the current representative to address these critical issues publicly.

As part of the voter awareness initiative, the organization visited numerous rural areas, including Mango, Shankosai, Turiyabeda, Badabanki, Baridih, and Sidgora, motivating residents to exercise their democratic rights without fail.

The campaign attracted the participation of notable individuals such as Salawat Mahato, Renu Singh, Abhijeet Chanda, Anima Das, Shubhashree Dutta, Gurmukh Singh, DN Sharma, Rishi Gupta, RC Pradhan, Nibha Shukla, and Jagannath Mahanthi, among others.
