Tata Motors Jamshedpur Schedules Temporary Shutdown for May 13

The Tata Motors plant in Jamshedpur has announced a Block Closure on May 13 due to a downturn in vehicle demand.

JAMSHEDPUR – In Tata Motors Jamshedpur, the factory will suspend activities on the 12th, a holiday due to it being a Sunday, and 13th of May, with plans to resume on the 14th.

Plant Head Ravindra Kulkarni communicated this decision via an internal circular.

The 12th falls on a Sunday, while the 13th is a Monday, constituting a two-day halt.

Operations are set to recommence on Tuesday following the closure.

Additionally, another circular has designated May 25 as a holiday to allow employees to participate in the Lok Sabha elections, urging all staff to cast their votes.

This temporary shutdown is part of a series of block closures at the plant, reflecting reduced demand for Tata Motors vehicles.
