In a shocking incident on Monday night, Mohammad Arif, a resident of the Aliashan Tower, was severely injured when a speeding bike ridden by two drunk youths crashed into him near Jawahar Nagar Road No. 16 Vishal Mega Mart in the Mango police station area of Jamshedpur.
JAMSHEDPUR – A speeding bike, ridden by two drunk youths, hit Mohammad Arif while he was crossing the road near Jawahar Nagar Road No. 16 Vishal Mega Mart in the Mango police station area on Monday night.
Mohammad Arif, a resident of the Alishan Tower, suffered serious injuries in the incident and was immediately rushed to MGM Hospital for treatment with the assistance of local people.
Eyewitnesses reported that the two youths on the bike, later identified a resident of Garib Colony, and another youth, a resident of Ghausnagar Kapali, were riding at high speed and appeared to be under the influence of alcohol.
The impact of the collision caused injuries to both the riders too, who were also taken to MGM Hospital for medical attention.
After receiving treatment, the police apprehended the two accused youths and took them into custody at the police station for further investigation.
The incident has raised concerns about the dangers of drunk driving and the need for stricter enforcement of traffic rules to prevent such accidents.
Local residents expressed their shock and concern over the incident, emphasizing the importance of responsible driving and the consequences of reckless behavior on the roads.
