Srinath University Hosts Insightful Two-Day Workshop on “SPSS: An Introduction”

Distinguished speakers and hands-on training sessions captivate nearly 150 participants

Srinath University’s School of Commerce and Management organized a highly successful two-day workshop titled "SPSS: An Introduction," which brought together distinguished speakers, faculty members, and enthusiastic students from various renowned institutions.

JAMSHEDPUR – Srinath University’s School of Commerce and Management has successfully inaugurated a two-day workshop on "SPSS: An Introduction," attracting nearly 150 participants from esteemed institutions across the region.

The event was graced by the presence of Srinath University’s Chancellor, Mr. Sukhdeo Mahato, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. S N Singh, Dean of Administration Mr. J Rajesh, and HOD of the School of Commerce and Management Dr. Mritunjay Mahato, along with distinguished faculty members and eager students.

Dr. Kamala Knati Das, a renowned research analyst from Paper Pedia Pvt Ltd, delivered a captivating keynote speech, sharing valuable insights into research methodologies and their applications.

Participants from prestigious institutions such as YBN University, GSCW Jamshedpur, Usha Martin University, Bidhan Chandra College Asansol, Jamshedpur Women’s University, DSPMU Ranchi, RE Bhubaneshwar, PG Department of Geography at Kolhan University, Srinath College of Education, and Srinath University itself attended the workshop.

Day 1 of the workshop featured a range of engaging activities, including a lamp lighting ceremony, a warm welcome address, research orientation sessions, critical discussions on research types, and a comprehensive introduction to the SPSS software.

Students had the opportunity to participate in hands-on training sessions, gaining practical experience in utilizing the SPSS software for data analysis and research purposes.

To ensure a conducive learning environment, the organizers provided high tea and lunch to keep the participants energized and focused throughout the day.
