Jharkhand Academic Council Students Excel in 12th Grade Examinations

High Success Rates and Top Performance Across Various Districts in Jharkhand’s 12th Results

In the recent class 12th results declared by the Jharkhand Academic Council, an impressive overall pass rate of 85.88% was achieved.

RANCHI – In the latest educational achievements for Jharkhand, the state’s class 12 students have shown outstanding results with a notable overall pass percentage and girls topping all streams.

District Highlights in Educational Achievement

In the spotlight for their exceptional results, the districts of Latehar, Koderma, and Simdega lead in Science, Commerce, and Arts respectively.

Latehar reported the highest pass rate in Commerce at 98.38%, while Simdega topped in Arts with 98.83%.

Individual Achievements Spotlight

The excellence extended across various subjects, with Science recording a pass percentage of 72.70%, Commerce at 90.60%, and Arts at 93.7%. Notably, female students shone across the board, securing top positions in all streams. Sneha, Pratibha, and Zeenat excelled in Science, Commerce, and Arts with scores of 98.2%, 94.8%, and 94.4% respectively.

Addressing Challenges and Future Focus

Despite the successes, concerns have been raised due to a decline in Science results from the previous year, with only 72.70% passing compared to the prior rate of 81.77%.

This downturn has prompted calls for an in-depth review and action to bolster student performance in this crucial subject area.

"The decline in Science results is a call to action for all of us," stated Dr. Anil Kumar Mahato, reflecting on the need for strategic interventions to improve outcomes.

Reflecting on the timely release of these results, JAC Chairman Dr. Anil Kumar Mahato praised the council’s efficient dissemination, which coincided across all streams, enhancing the celebratory spirit among students and educators alike.

"This year’s results, though mixed, showcase the resilience and hard work of our students and teachers," Dr. Mahato added.
