Local Painter Perishes in Drowning Incident Near Jamshedpur

In a tragic occurrence at Dobo Satnala Dam, a young man lost his life due to drowning. The incident has left the community in shock and prompted a police investigation into the circumstances of the drowning.

JAMSHEDPUR – A local painter met with a tragic end at Dobo Satnala Dam, near Jamshedpur, after drowning during an evening swim with friends.

Rahul Mandal’s body was discovered floating in the dam early Monday morning following the accident.

After being informed by his companions and wife, the police arrived and began a search, but were unable to locate him until daylight due to the lack of visibility.

The body was then retrieved and a post-mortem examination was arranged to ascertain the precise cause of death.

Originally from Bagbera, Mandal had been residing in Bhatia Basti, Kadma, pursuing his painting profession.

He had moved there with his wife following their marriage a year earlier.

The incident occurred after a leisurely outing with friends proved fatal.

Investigations continue as the community mourns the untimely loss of the young man.
