Mentally Unstable Man Commits Family Homicide in Latehar, Jharkhand

A shocking incident of triple murder has occurred in Latehar district where a mentally disturbed man killed three family members using sharp weapons.

RANCHI – In a harrowing incident in Dabri village, Saryu block of Latehar district, three individuals were tragically killed by a family member.

The assailant, identified as Ranjan Oraon, reportedly attacked his father Suraj Oraon, sister-in-law Anupama Devi, and another relative Mansooriya Devi with an axe following a dispute at home.

The altercation began late Sunday night after Ranjan returned home intoxicated.

In addition to the fatalities, two other family members, Amlesh Oraon and his wife Hiramani Devi, sustained serious injuries during the attack.

Police were alerted and swiftly arrived at the scene to begin investigations.

Latehar SP Anjani Anjan confirmed the details of the case, reporting that Ranjan Oraon has been detained by authorities.
