Jamshedpur Woman Shot by Husband

Dispute Leads to Shooting Incident in Golmuri

In a shocking event in Jamshedpur’s Golmuri area, a woman was injured after being shot by her husband, sparking a police investigation into the domestic dispute turned violent.

JAMSHEDPUR – A distressing altercation in Golmuri, Jamshedpur, resulted in Amandeep Kaur, also known as Komal, being shot in the leg by her husband, K Singh, following a heated argument late Tuesday evening.

Currently, K Singh is on the run, evading law enforcement after the violent incident that has left his wife hospitalized.

Amandeep is receiving medical care at MGM Hospital, where she is being treated for her injuries sustained in the shooting.

The incident was quickly attended by DSP City Sudhir Kumar, who arrived at the scene to gather firsthand accounts, including a statement from the injured Amandeep.

Amandeep recounted her troubled relationship with K Singh, detailing their marriage in 2017, which has been marred by his criminal behavior, prompting her to reside with her parents.

She explained that the confrontation occurred while she was en route to the market with her three-year-old daughter for Mansa Puja, during which K Singh obstructed their way and escalated the dispute, ultimately resorting to gunfire.

This incident sheds light on the ongoing concerns regarding domestic violence and the imperative for stringent measures to address such conflicts within the community.
