Corona kills 2 in Jamshedpur on Thursday, total deaths 30

Jamshedpur: Corona has killed two more persons in Jamshedpur on Thursday taking the total death toll for the city to 30 now.

Meanwhile, the number of total infections for the city has crossed 1700.

The number of Corona infections in the city is on the rise steadily. The number of fatalities too is increasing almost every day.

On Thursday, a 55-year-old railway employee of Railway Traffic Colony, Bagbera died in the morning at Railway Hospital, Khas Mahal.

On the other hand, another 58-year-old patient from Sidhgora too died in the evening. He was brought in serious condition in TMH. He had tested positive for Corona. He died in the course of treatment on Thursday.

The spread of Corona in the city is getting impetus by the day despite all the efforts of the district administration.

Although the district administration has taken several steps to restrict movement of people and control violation of social distancing norms, teh results are not as expected.

The city is in deep throes of Corona trouble. There are many in the city who feel that another lockdown may be necessary to stem the spread of the disease.
