Truck Crashes into House in Bangurda Adarsh Village, Leaving Two Injured and One Dead
An uncontrolled truck veered off the road and crashed into a house in Bangurda Adarsh village, Kamalpur police station area, Jamshedpur, early Friday morning.
JAMSHEDPUR – In the rural area of Patamda, an uncontrolled truck rammed into a kutcha house at 4 am on Friday, tragically crushing a woman named Anna Mahato who was brushing her teeth outside.
The driver fled the scene, taking the truck towards Bandowan.
The loud crash prompted nearby residents to rush to the scene.
Local resident Abodh Kalindi arranged a vehicle to transport the critically injured Anna Mahato, 30, to Macha Hospital.
Due to her critical condition, she was referred to MGM Hospital.
Upon arrival at the hospital at 7 am, doctors declared Anna Mahato dead.
According to Abodh Kalindi, Anna’s husband Sanatan Mahato was also severely injured in the incident.
The impact of the truck caused the asbestos roof of the house to collapse, injuring Sanatan, who was sleeping inside, on his head and legs.
Fortunately, their two children, 8-year-old Riya Mahato and 6-year-old Rohit Mahato, survived the incident unharmed.
The sudden accident has left the family devastated.
Anna Mahato, along with her husband, supported the family by working as a laborer in civil work in various villages of the area.
Kamalpur police station in-charge Deepak Kumar Thakur visited the site in the morning and assured the family of compensation.
The police are currently investigating the matter and tracing the truck involved in the accident.
