Airfare Adjustments for Jamshedpur Flights

Bhubaneswar to Jamshedpur flight cost rises while Kolkata route sees a decrease

India One Air updates airfares for Jamshedpur routes, adjusting based on passenger demand.

JAMSHEDPUR – India One Air updates airfares for Jamshedpur routes, adjusting based on passenger demand.

The airline has increased the fare for flights from Bhubaneswar to Jamshedpur to Rs 3033, marking a Rs 226 hike.

Conversely, airfare from Kolkata to Jamshedpur has been reduced, offering a slight saving of Rs 30 to passengers.

This pricing strategy reflects the airline’s response to fluctuating demand for its nine-seater aircraft services in the region.

Since commencing services to Kolkata and Bhubaneswar in January 2023, India One Air has regularly revised its fares.

The airline’s recent baggage policy change, reducing the check-in and hand baggage allowances, has sparked controversy among passengers and the local business community.

Vijay Anand Moonka, President of the Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce, has formally protested the new baggage rules to national authorities.

These adjustments in airfare and policy underscore the ongoing efforts to balance operational costs with passenger needs in the regional air travel market.
