Mega rally planned by JMM in Ranchi for Lok Sabha election campaign
Jharkhand Mukti Morcha to organize a significant rally in Ranchi on April 21, aiming to bolster its campaign for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
JAMSHEDPUR – The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) Legislature Party convened at the Chief Minister’s residence to strategize for the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
A critical decision made during the meeting was to hold a grand rally at Prabhat Tara Ground in Ranchi on April 21, marking a key moment in the party’s electoral preparation.
Rajya Sabha MP Mahua Maji confirmed Kalpana Soren’s candidacy in the Gandey by-election, highlighting the party’s active engagement in the electoral battle.
The rally is set to also mark the conclusion of the Nyaya Yatra, a protest against the arrest of Hemant Soren, aiming to challenge what the party perceives as the central government’s authoritarian stance.
Echoing the grandeur of a similar rally in Delhi’s Ramlila Maidan, JMM aims to replicate the success with a massive gathering in Ranchi, inviting prominent opposition leaders to join.
Supriyo Bhattacharya, JMM’s central general secretary, emphasized that this rally is exclusively a JMM initiative, symbolizing a direct confrontation against the central government’s policies.
