Traffic police crack down on illegal alcohol near Adityapur Kharkai Bridge

In a swift operation near the Adityapur Kharkai Bridge, Bistupur traffic police seized thirty litres of illicit country liquor and arrested the suspect, emphasizing their commitment to curbing illegal activities.

JAMSHEDPUR – In a targeted crackdown against illegal activities, the Bistupur traffic police recently made a notable arrest near the Adityapur Kharkai Bridge.

During a routine vehicle inspection, officers intercepted a Honda Activa scooter.

A thorough search of the vehicle led to the discovery of thirty litres of illegal country liquor hidden inside.

The scooter driver, identified as Chetan Mandal from Dhatkidih in the Gamharia police station area, was promptly arrested.

In addition to the liquor, the police also confiscated the Honda Activa scooter used in the transport of the contraband.

This incident occurred during routine checks conducted by the traffic police on Friday.

The operation highlights the continuous efforts by law enforcement to tackle the issue of illegal liquor in the area.

Chetan Mandal has been taken into custody in connection to the possession of illicit country liquor.
