Jamshedpur Traffic Police Equip PCR Vans With First Aid Kits

50 Patrol Vehicles Receive Medical Supplies To Assist Accident Victims

Initiative aims to provide immediate care at road accident scenes.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Jamshedpur Traffic Police have distributed first aid kits to all Police Control Room (PCR) vans in the city, enhancing their ability to respond to road accidents.

"PCR vehicles are often first responders to accident scenes. These kits will enable immediate medical assistance," stated Traffic DSP Sanjay Kumar.

A total of 50 PCR vans received the new first aid kits on Thursday.

"Many vans previously lacked proper medical supplies. This initiative addresses that gap," Kumar explained.

The kits are designed to provide essential first aid to injured persons at accident sites.

This move aims to improve the initial response time and care for road accident victims.

Traffic police officers received brief training on using the first aid supplies effectively.

The initiative is part of broader efforts to enhance road safety and emergency response in Jamshedpur.

Local health officials have praised the police department’s proactive approach to accident management.

This equipment upgrade underscores the traffic police’s commitment to public safety and welfare.
