JAMSHEDPUR – District Election Officer Shri Ananya Mittal has underscored the necessity for meticulousness in electoral duties to uphold election integrity, fairness, and transparency.

He particularly highlighted the Sweep Cell’s role in launching extensive voter awareness programs.

Mittal directed the Personnel Cell to ensure the accuracy of voter lists and the Training Cell to finalize training schedules and conduct timely training sessions.

The responsibility of the EVM Cell was noted as crucial for assessing and provisioning EVMs for training purposes.

Officers were briefed on preparing dispatch centers by assembly, ensuring the availability of all required materials at voting booths, and evaluating vehicle needs.

Social media monitoring and other election-related tasks were discussed, with a focus on adhering to standard operating procedures.

Officials from various departments, including Mango Municipal Corporation, attended the meeting, showcasing a unified approach to election management.

The meeting took place in the Collectorate Auditorium, Jamshedpur, with Deputy Development Commissioner Mr. Manish Kumar and other senior officials in attendance.
