Night Operation Reveals No Contraband in Jail

In a late-night operation at Ghaghidih Central Jail, police found no illicit materials during a thorough search.

JAMSHEDPUR – City SP Mukesh Kumar Lunayat led a surprise inspection at Ghaghidih Central Jail.

The operation involved numerous officers and lasted about 2 hours.

A total of 8 teams inspected every ward and cell, including the medical ward.

Despite the comprehensive search, no contraband was discovered.

The raid, involving urban area police station heads and administrative officers, aimed at routine checking.

The sudden police and administration presence stirred unease among the inmates.

However, the detailed investigation concluded without finding any objectionable items.

Police sources said that this effort demonstrates the authorities’ commitment to maintaining order and security within the facility.
