Bagbera Roads Revamp After Two Decades

Rs. 2.34 Crore Allocated for Bagbera Colony Road Construction

After enduring 22 years of dilapidation, the roads of Bagbera Colony are set for a major overhaul with a Rs. 2.34 crore budget allocated for their reconstruction. This initiative, backed by the MLA Sanjeev Sardar and the concerted efforts of public representatives, marks a significant milestone in the colony’s infrastructure development.

JAMSHEDPUR – The long-awaited reconstruction of Bagbera Colony’s roads, from Road No. 1 to 6, has been sanctioned a Rs. 2.34 crore budget, following a tender issuance by the Rural Works Department.

The project’s timeline is set for 12 months, promising a transformative impact on the colony’s accessibility and living conditions.

Panchayat representatives, including Bagbera Colony’s Sunil Gupta, met with MLA Sanjeev Sardar to express their gratitude for his pivotal role in this development.

"The relentless advocacy by our Panchayat members and the support from MLA Sanjeev Sardar have finally paved the way for this much-needed project," stated Sunil Gupta, a Panchayat Committee member.

The initiative to reconstruct the roads was propelled by the consistent efforts of Panchayat representatives, addressing the colony’s long-standing issues with water logging and filth.

It’s been two decades since the last significant roadwork, a 1-kilometer construction in 2002, leaving the community in dire need of infrastructural improvements.

The project’s commencement was assured by MLA Sanjeev Sardar, responding to the dire condition of roads that made it challenging for residents to navigate their daily lives.

Community’s Role in Infrastructure Improvement

Panchayat Committee member Sunil Gupta, Deputy Chief Santosh Thakur, and ward members have been instrumental in bringing the colony’s dire road conditions to the attention of governmental authorities.

Their persistent requests to MLA Sanjeev Sardar were crucial in initiating the government’s action towards road reconstruction.

Government’s Response to Public Demand

This reconstruction effort illustrates the successful collaboration between the community’s representatives and governmental bodies to address critical infrastructure needs.

"Thanks to the combined efforts of our community and the support from MLA Sanjeev Sardar, Bagbera Colony is on the brink of witnessing a significant transformation," mentioned Deputy Chief Santosh Thakur.
